ControlStocks and SeKuen, applications are developments made by the group- SOA – Applied Optimisation Systems .SOA is an R & D group of ITI – The Institute of Computing Technology, which specialises in the research and development of advanced technologies for optimisation and the solving of complex problems in real environments. These applications are the result of the cutting-edge research in this field and development projects with companies. In addition, these applications benefit from the development capabilities of ITI in the field of R & D and consultancy in technology software (software quality, methodologies, optimisation of performance etc.) SOA focuses on issues of production, logistics, routes and inventories, amongst many others. The techniques employed by the SOA provide solutions to the above problems for which existing procedures, both specific and general, have not been able to give satisfactory answers. In order to do this it uses the most advanced techniques of optimisation of operational research, decision sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence and industrial engineering.
